President & Founder
Dr. Paula Williams is an Education Specialist responsible for education and clinical competency of registered nurses in their practice of care for patients.
She is an Adjunct Nursing Professor with Creighton University College of Nursing, and Aspen University College of Nursing. Her responsibility is to teach, train, mentor and prepare students entering the noble profession of nursing.
Dr. Williams received her Associate Degree in Nursing in Toronto, Canada and has been a registered nurse for 36 years. She has earned her Master of Science in Nursing, a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management, and a PhD in Public Health. She is certified as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN).
She is the President and Founder of Between Nurses Foundation Inc., which celebrates, provides support and mentorship for nursing professionals. The foundation also encourages high school students to consider nursing as a career option, to care for health care consumers while contributing to minimize the plight of the nursing shortage in the United States.

Secretary & Advisor to the President
Serving as Secretary and Advisor to the President is Patricia (Patti) Stoffers. She earned her first nursing degree in 1981 in Santa Barbara, California. Her second career aspiration was to teach. In 1997 she began teaching a class through Santa Barbara City College Adult Education and has continued to teach nursing and nurse practitioner students. In 1995, she became a Nurse Practitioner as part of a two-physician private practice. Since that time, she has earned her Master of Science in Nurse Education and Doctor of Nursing Practice. Dr. Stoffers is a published author in Nursing Journals.
In retirement, Patti loves to be with her family including her two grandchildren. She and her husband love the outdoors and you can often see them on the hiking trails of many National Parks, on their bicycles, or on the beaches of Maui.
Vice President Operations
Seema has 20+ years of nursing experience dedicated to creating a positive and meaningful experience for patients and their families. She has served as a Nurse Leader culminating in accountability for administration and operations for various nursing and non-nursing departments.
Throughout her career, Seema has led numerous research and quality improvement initiatives focused on improving outcomes and reducing preventable harm in critically ill adult patients. She has also worked as a faculty member with Aspen University teaching Nursing Students. She has been a Leap leader, coach, and consultant for multiple productivity management projects.
Seema is a member of AONL(American Organization for Nursing Leadership). She has earned a Master of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. She is a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) from the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) from American Association of Medical-Surgical Nurses. Seema has also got other certifications like Healthcare Mini-MBA from University of Arizona and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
